One of the easiest ways to diagnose the switch is by trying to use other door locks in the car.
Other power windows work just not the driver side.
Hard to start yesterday drivers side window power door locks wont work either by buttons on both doors or on key fob other windows work.
Drivers window does not work but the other 3 windows all work.
If they work then you ve narrowed down your problem.

I have a 2004 colorado crew cab the windows work but the power locks only work on the drivers door and not the other three.
Battery terminal and that did nothing.
Keyless remote will not open doors although when pressed the interior lights come on so i don t believe it is an issue with the fob battery.
Power door locks do not work from door and do not work with key fob.
The other three door locks work fine when it is not hot.
